Edutopia Handout/VoiceThread.com
I found voicethread.com to be very rewarding not only to teachers, but to students as well. Students are able to publish their work online and offer reviews to each other. A plus is that emails aren't required. The teachers have to add the student to his or her class in order for them to be apart of the network. Privacy is respected because the student's first name only appears on the first page. With voicethread, students can introduce themselves with a brief introduction using photos if their from another state or country on the first day of school instead of doing the basic write a few sentences about yourself and read it to the class. Students can learn about each other through the class site.

I will look into this as well. Because I am not an educator yet, all this is really new to me. However, I am glad that I have access to all of this information from people who have tried it and given suggestions to why they feel it is good. Thanks.
